POSTPONED Exhibition Workshop: Generate

This workshop is held in conjunction with the “STUDIOS” exhibition on view in the Crosstown Arts East Gallery.
Utilizing fabric, paper, paint, and other provided materials, participants will create art pieces inspired by Keiko Gonzalez’s abstractions on view in “STUDIOS.” These pieces will be showcased in a pop-up gallery at the end of the exhibition.


POSTPONED After-school Exhibition Workshop: Snapshots

This workshop is in conjunction with “Here Is Where We Meet,” on view in the West Gallery.
Over the course of several sessions, students will amass a body of work based upon specific prompts, such as “choose a person/scene in one of Crosstown Arts’ spaces.” Students will create a sketch with colored pencils and oil pastels, using Susan Lichtman’s work in “Here Is Where ….


Exhibition Workshop: Figuratively Speaking

This workshop is held in conjunction with the “Here Is Where We Meet” exhibition on view in the Crosstown Arts West Gallery.
Students will be given samples of writing , and then they’ll create a piece of visual art that represents or reflects that writing sample. Participants will use will use watercolor, colored pencil, crumpled paper, wood, fabric, and paint to create 2D or 3D works. These pieces will amass into a ….
