Crosstown Arts Theater
Check back soon for updates on 2019 programming.
The Crosstown Arts Theater, a 425-seat black box theater, hosts programming as well as events organized by performing arts/music/film groups and organizations across the city. It also serves as a large-scale meeting space for Crosstown Concourse tenants and commercial businesses. Additionally, the theater functions as the assembly space and performing arts center for Crosstown High School.
Specific physical accommodations include a sprung wood floor stage, modular open floor, and retractable seating. The performance space can transform completely from an open room with 5,000 square feet of flat floor to proscenium, thrust, black box, or theater-in-the-round, in a matter of hours. The second floor balcony can accommodate seated or standing audiences, as the stage can exist in multiple locations inside the space. The theater accommodates 600 standing, 425 in theater style rows, and 250 in banquet style seating.
