Combining diaristic elements with found footage, critical texts, and the use of my body in performance in front of and behind the camera, I work toward the deconstruction of notions surrounding femininity. This interest in tackling greater social narratives surrounding womxn converges with a hands-on exploration of memory & time through moving-image and the employment of anachronistic technology to address the place of womxn within time’s flux through the themes of sexuality, identity, and the body.”
