Will Graves and Soul return to The Green Room on September 12, 2026, for an unforgettable night of classic soul, funk, and R&B. Led by the dynamic Will Graves, the band has been a Memphis favorite for decades, earning a reputation for powerful vocals, exceptional musicianship, and electrifying live performances. Their signature sound blends timeless soul with irresistible grooves, creating an experience that keeps audiences on their feet from start to finish. Set in the intimate atmosphere of Crosstown Arts’ Green Room, this special performance promises an evening of outstanding live music, infectious energy, and the unmistakable spirit of Memphis.

For nearly two decades, Will Graves and Soul, a prolific band led by vocalist Will Graves, was known all across Memphis and beyond for their high-energy, live performances. These performances blended the classic traditions of soul, R&B, funk, and blues while incorporating contemporary influences.
Many of Memphis’ top-tier musicians served tenures with the band during their careers. After nearly a decade of absence, Will Graves and Soul are reuniting to once again deliver the soulful sound that Memphians enjoyed for many years while also giving tribute to Will and his influence in the Memphis music scene on his birthday.
Will Graves and Soul was formed in 2001 by lead singer/keyboardist William Graves II. Will has long been recognized as a premier vocal talent in Memphis, with recognition including winning the Grammy showcase sponsored by the Memphis Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammy Awards).
As a creative artist and powerful performer, Will has always attracted quality musicians from the region. Performing soul, jazz, pop, R&B, rock, gospel, and inspirational music, Will Graves and Soul have opened for artists like Alex Bugnon, Ledisi, and Angie Stone. Notably, Stevie Wonder once joined them on stage during a performance.
