The Sanctuary Jazz Orchestra has performed in a variety of venues including local music festivals such as the annual Memphis Heritage Festival, The Bartlett Festival, The Whitehaven Jazz Festival (which featured Donald Brown and John Birdsong); The Center for Southern Folklore; Rhodes College; Tennessee Cultural Heritage Preservation Society Benefit Galas; and church galas. The Orchestra has performed with Memphis’ premiere jazz, blues, and gospel vocalist Erliz Taylor in a benefit jazz concert for missions charity relief for Haiti at Bridges of Memphis.
