Optic Sink is a new post-punk/electronic collaboration between Natalie Hoffmann of Nots and Ben Bauermeister of A55 Conducta / DJ Damp Velour.
Yazan is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter originally from New York, playing a blend of country blues, folk, and psychedelia. Yazan is a self-taught musician of Palestinian lineage who has had a 20-year, long-distance relationship with the Memphis music scene. He uses his music practice to amplify a social consciousness and to encourage others to find their creative practice. Yazan has recorded and released several full-length albums with Shoulder Tap records and the album Hahaha with Exploding in Sound Records in 2018. He has toured and performed in Europe and the US and collaborated with a long list of individuals and bands.
