Crosstown Arts presents “Open Mic: Hosted by Kenny Morningstar“. This is a 2-hour curated open mic seeking to highlight a diverse range of talent including poets, singers, rappers, beat makers, spoken word artists, and acoustic performers.
Sign-ups will begin at 7:00 PM, with each open mic participant receiving up to 5 minutes to perform. In addition to the open mic slots, the night will feature 4–5 guest artists (including the host), who will perform short sets (5–10 minutes or up to 3 songs).
Kenny Morningstar is a rapper, songwriter, photographer from Milwaukee, WI. He recently released his EP “dragged to HELL!” which is a braggadocios boom bap rap symposium.
