    North Mississippi Allstars celebrate their latest release, Up and Rolling, on the Kemmons Wilson Family Stage at Crosstown Theater.

    Welcome Luther and Cody Dickinson back home to Memphis as they celebrate the release of their ninth studio effort, Up and Running. Joining them will be Memphis-born comedian Deric Poston.

    Join Grammy-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum for Kafé Kirk, a monthly jazz series in Crosstown Theater featuring musical and spiritual collaborations with special guest artists. This month’s guest: Memphis-based jazz vocalist Wendy Moten.

  • After-School Workshop: Exploring Akirash

    Crosstown Arts, East Gallery, Crosstown Concourse 1350 Concourse Ave., Memphis, TN, United States

    Students will study a piece from Akirash's work in Asiko: Moments, on display in the East Gallery. Then they'll sketch inside his gallery exhibit.

    Afterward, in the East Atrium, students will finish their work with acrylic paint. They will do this for three weeks, completing 2-3 works, which will be displayed in a pop-up gallery during the final week (December 15-20).

    This three-part workshop will be held on December 3, 10, and 17. This workshop is for students in the 8th-12th grades.

  • Aaron James & Estes: The Finale Show

    The final show of the Aaron James and Estes fall series. Aaron James & Estes started with an acoustic show back in October, followed by a collaborative show in November. Now they're ending their series with a rock show at Crosstown Arts' 430 Gallery.

    Half of all ticket sales are being donated to Memphis Rox, the non-profit rock climbing facility in Soulsville.

    Four years after Breathless, Jean-Luc Godard reimagined the gangster film even more radically with BAND OF OUTSIDERS (Bande à part, 1964, 95 minutes). Two restless young men (Sami Frey and Claude Brasseur) enlist the object of both of their fancies (Anna Karina) to help them commit a robbery — in her own home.

    All Crosstown Arts spaces — galleries, The Green Room, Crosstown Theater, the cafe, Art Bar, Shared Art Making, and artist studios — will be open to the public. Live music, hot cocoa, performances, tours, art exhibitions, and more.

    During this event, Crosstown Arts fall 2019 session resident artists will open their studios to the public in a behind-the-scenes look at the residency program. Residents will present musical performances, readings, visual art, and more. 

    Free and open to the public. This event is happening concurrently with the annual Crosstown Concourse holiday lighting party.
