    Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a performance by Hint of Lime Brass Trio. This young and energetic chamber ensemble, featuring Sarah Ford (Colorado Springs Philharmonic), Nicole Gillotti (Texas A&M International University), and Morgan Fite (New York City Freelancer), will present a varied program of works by Poulenc, Bernofsky, Corelli, Gluck, and Mañas. In celebration of National Women’s History Month, the group will prominently feature works written by female composers.

    David Byrne makes his directorial debut with TRUE STORIES, a movie loosely based around drawings Bryne had made about tabloid stories. Byrne is the main narrator as he traverses through the town of Virgil, Texas, as they prepare for the “Celebration of Specialness.”  With Spalding Gray (Swimming to Cambodia!! Farmer’s Daughters!!) and Pops Staples!!!

    Crosstown Arts presents Alice Hansen & the Blaze with an opening performance by Blueshift Ensemble in The Green Room. Born in Vermont and based in Memphis, Alice Hasen is a professional violinist, recording artist, and songwriter. She leads Alice Hasen & the Blaze and is part of the Blackwater Trio, an acoustic rock band. Alice is known for her unique playing style, which combines the virtuosity of her classical upbringing with the freedom and creativity of improvisation.

    Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a performance by guitarist Julian Lage and drummer Dave King. Hailed as one of the most prodigious guitarists of his generation, Julian Lage has spent more than a decade searching through the myriad strains of American musical history via impeccable technique, free association, and a spirit of infinite possibility.

    Love Hurts , which marks his first album to feature drummer Dave King (The Bad Plus), sees the GRAMMY-nominated guitarist exploring the American song catalog from a truly unique vantage point, performing music written by a range of audacious and original artists, from Roy Orbison to Ornette Coleman, Jimmy Giuffre to Peter Ivers.
