Crosstown Arts at Crosstown Concourse 1350 Concourse Avenue, Suite 280, Memphis, TN, United StatesA festival of collaborations among musicians and artists of diverse genres from Memphis and beyond, bringing to life unique performances and workshops in the award-winning Crosstown Concourse. Now in its third year, this festival for the adventurous listener will include performances at Crosstown Theater, The Green Room, East Atrium Stage, and a special collaboration with Opera Memphis.
A free festival kick-off performance featuring Blueshift Ensemble and ICEBERG New Music will be held at Crosstown Brewing Company on Thursday, August 15.

Kansas City transplant and current professor of saxophone at the University of Memphis Michael Shults joins forces with one of the central figures of the Kansas City scene - trumpeter and composer Clint Ashlock - and a rhythm section of Memphis stalwarts, presenting original music and standards. With Alvie Givhan, piano, Alan Maguire, bass, and James Sexton, drums.
