    Crosstown Arts’ Open Crit series, organized in partnership with ArtsMemphis, is a monthly critique event where visual artists are invited to bring new and/or in-progress studio work for critical feedback and group discussion particular to each artist’s practice. All sessions are free and open to the public.

    Jazz tribute to the music of John Coltrane featuring Art Edmaiston (saxophones), Tim Goodwin (acoustic bass), Gerald Stephens (piano), Logan Hanna (guitar), and Chad Anderson (drums).

    The Crosstown Jazz Series, presented by Strictly Jazz Entertainment in collaboration with Crosstown Arts, is designed to salute classic jazz music as contemporary musicians perform the work of the legends.

  • Indie Wednesday Film Series

    Screening of Marvin Booker Was Murdered — a film chronicling the search for justice in the case of Marvin Booker, a homeless street preacher originally from Memphis, who was beaten to death by five jail guards for simply wanting to retrieve his shoes in a Denver Detention Center. Award Winner at the 2017 Indie Memphis Film Festival.

    Young Arts Patrons is pleased to present Young Collectors Contemporary, a four-day art experience.

    Part exhibition/part immersive professional development seminar/part contemporary arts conference, Young Collectors Contemporary is a cutting-edge art fair that is multidisciplinary in scope. The goal is to expand the spectrum of emerging artists to new and existing collectors to support the arts economy.
