ICEBERG New Music composer Derek Cooper will lead a workshop called  "So You Don’t Like New Music ... A Suggestive Way to Listen to Contemporary Classical Music."

Tickets are $15 a day or $40 for a weekend pass

All performances will take place at Crosstown Arts inside Crosstown Concourse.

The key to Pecha Kucha is the 20×20 format: all presenters show 20 slides for 20 seconds each, making each presentation concise and dynamic. If you’re wondering what “Pecha Kucha” means, it draws its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat.”

Please join Indie Memphis & Crosstown Arts as we welcome film composer Jonathan Kirkscey, accompanied by a live chamber ensemble performing selections from his scores.  Jonathan will discuss his experience and creative process working as a music composer for numerous films, including the recently released award-winning documentary on Fred Rogers, Won't You Be My Neighbor. Shoot & Splice is a monthly forum for filmmakers presented collaboratively by Crosstown Arts & Indie Memphis.  

Learn about the origin of zines and how to make your very own. We will provide all of the basic supplies you’ll need to get started. Just bring your ideas!
