Vocalist Jiana Hunter and The Jam Session are a collective unit of musicians and band leaders whose styles range from Classic Rock, Jazz, Soul, and Hip Hop to Gospel and Reggae.

About Jiana Hunter:
Originally from Cincinnati, Jiana moved from Motown to Memphis, continuing her career as a songwriter, singer, praise and worship leader, and music educator. She intentionally shares good vibes of inspiration and encouragement throughout any musical set as is displayed in her solo release, True Love.
Jiana’s diverse experience has allowed her to perform with artists Steve Lee, Prime Cut Band, Bamboo Forest, Bobby McFerrin, Eric Roberson, Donald Lawrence, KEM, Anthony Hamilton, Marvin Winans, among others.
Jiana has performed in various sponsored events by Memphis Music Commission, Dizzy Bird Jazz Lounge, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and national corporations. Earlier this year at Crosstown Arts, Jiana Hunter debuted her sold out Ella Fitzgerald tribute concert, sponsored by Strictly Jazz Entertainment.
Using her artistry to build a philanthropic endeavor, Jiana Hunter Music/JiJizJam provides classical and commercial music voice training to youth and adults. As an 18-year music education veteran, Jiana has taught at Visible Music School, Oakland University, Arts League of Michigan, Middle Tennessee State University (workshop presenter), Stax Music Academy, Cincinnati and Shelby County Schools, School for Creative and Performing Arts, Marvin L. Winans Academy of Performing Arts. as well as St. Georges Independent Schools.
