Nationally recognized quilter Maria Shell will teach individuals how to make quilt blocks. Each block will then be added to the final masterpiece — a community quilt. Beginners and experts are invited. Makers do not need to have any experience making quilts or quilt blocks. All materials will be supplied.

Watch while our community quilt is assembled. Maria will spend two days building the quilt using the quilt blocks created in the workshop. Community members and visitors are welcome to come and observe the process.
This event is in conjunction with Stitched: Celebrating the Art of Quilting — a festival at Crosstown Arts with art exhibitions, public quilting workshops, and a Gathering of the Guilds showcase. Stitched runs from May 10-July 28, 2019.
