Artist Eric Clausen will lead this FREE workshop in the Crosstown Arts Digital Lab on the basic steps of creating their own typefaces and fonts using Adobe Illustrator. Great for intermediate designers.

Artist Eric Clausen will lead this FREE workshop in the Crosstown Arts Digital Lab on creating vivid illustrations and images primarily using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for print and digital applications. The workshop will center around a main project the students will define and work towards (short comic, poster, portrait series). Great for beginner and intermediate artists. All you need to bring is a sketchbook!
Students will learn:
-Adobe Keyboard Shortcuts
-Workspace & Workflow Organization
-Print & Digital Imaging basics
-Cleaning up scanned images
-Drawing/painting digitally
-Creating and using Brushes
-Creating and using Patterns & Swatches
-Exporting, Saving, and Printing
-Alternative hardware/software
