Yidan Zeng 曽一丹

Yidan Zeng 曽一丹 is a Chinese-American artist stitching together text, textiles, performance, and food towards an embodied practice of attention and care. Her works are continually woven webs with no center, seeking only to make tangible the invisible threads in our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the natural world. She’s been a Textile Arts Center artist-in-residence, Create Change Fellow with The Laundromat Project, and Visiting Glass Artist at the University of Hawai’i in Mānoa. Yidan received her BA and BFA from the Brown-RISD Dual Degree Program in Computer Science and Glass.
