Megan Milks

Megan Milks is a writer, editor, and critic. Their fiction and essays often explore queer/trans adolescence, friendship and other intimacies, transformation, and desire. Their first novel, Margaret and the Mystery of the Missing Body, a finalist for the Lambda Award in Transgender Fiction, was published in 2021 along with Slug and Other Stories, a revised second edition of their first collection, both by Feminist Press. Their personal history of early online music fandom, Tori Amos Bootleg Webring, was published by Instar Books in 2021 as part of the Remember the Internet series. They are co-editor of We Are the Baby-Sitters Club: Essays and Artwork by Grownup Readers, and live and teach in New York.
