Lisette Alvarez
Lisette Alvarez is a multimedium storyteller, digital strategist, and wor(l)d(s) traveler. A queer, Latine, third culture kid with an academic background in international affairs and theater, Lisette found their voice through the magic of audio drama. Lisette runs audio production and consultation company Stormfire Productions, and is the creator of the award-winning fantasy podcast “Kalila Stormfire’s Economical Magick Services” as well as the fairytale anthology podcast “Tales From the Hearth” (featured live at the Hirschhorn Museum in Washington, DC), and has co-produced and consulted on other audio dramas, audiobooks, podcasts, websites, gallery exhibitions, and more.
During their Crosstown Arts residency, Lisette branches out into augmented reality while producing a new spy thriller audio drama that explores sibling relationships, borders, and fractal identities.
