When Lauren was in residence at Crosstown Arts, she was an independent curator and writer based in Richmond, Virginia. She now lives in St. Louis, Missouri where she serves as Executive Director of Laumeier Sculpture Park. She has dedicated over twenty years to championing emerging to mid-career artists through curating, writing, and teaching.
