Fat Possum Records & No Sudden Movements present Memphis ’69 in Crosstown Theater. This concert documentary, shot over 3 days at the Overton Park Shell (now known as the Levitt Shell) in June of 1969, celebrates an American art form that unites us all. Featuring Bukka White, Furry Lewis, Fred McDowell, and so many more. Memphis ’69 first premiered at Slamdance 2019 in Park City, Utah.
Followed by a Q&A with Bruce Watson of Fat Possum Records and filmmakers Joe and Lisa Lamattina.
