Memphis Concrete is an experimental electronic music festival featuring a variety of musicians performing over the course of two nights.
The line-up includes Argiflex (Cleveland, MS), Aster, Ben Bauermeister, Belly Full of Stars (Nashville, TN), BlanketSwimming (Hattiesburg, MS), Bruiser, Cheap Spirits, companyofquail (Abingdon, VA), Count Zero Interrupt (aka Adam Arthur), Division of Labor (Hattiesburg, MS), Ara Hanissian, Ihcilon, Lost Man, manualcontrol, minivan_markus, NEPTR (Hattiesburg, MS), Nonconnah, Pas Moi (Cleveland, MS), Qemist, Revenge Body, Ben Ricketts (Oxford, MS), snwv (Pittsburgh, PA), Tatras (Knoxville, TN), Robert Traxler, Vexadrem, and more.
During the day, there will be free exhibits with interactive sound installations. Interact with your environment to create and change sounds.
There will also be a screening of the classic film Forbidden Planet with an accompanying live musical performance.
