  • Art For A Smart Start

    Art For A Smart Start is a collaborative art exhibition featuring the works of 27 different Memphis artists. These artists will show and sell their works during this one-night-only event and generously donate proceeds of their sales to benefit Shelby County Books From Birth. Organized by Darlene Newman.

  • Shoot & Splice: A View From Above, the Art & Craft of Drone Cinematography

    Crosstown Arts and Indie Memphis invite you to look skyward, toward the increasingly popular world of aerial drone cinematography. With the advent of more affordable tech, snagging high-flying shots in your low-budget short or commercial project is no longer a pie-in-the-sky dream.

    For this edition of Shoot & Splice, we're discussing what it takes to be an aerial maverick with three of the best drone cinematographers in Memphis: Wil "Hype" Evans, Ryan Goble and Aaron Jaffe.

  • A Rockin’ Time for the St. Jude Ronald McDonald House

    Join us for a night of good music, good vibes and good people -- with all proceeds going to a great cause, The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis. Featuring performances from lots of local musical guests.

  • Open Crit

    Visual artists from all backgrounds and levels of experience are invited to present works in progress/newly finished for discussion led by an experienced facilitator. Anyone is welcome to participate in the discussion.

    Artists begin setup at 5 pm. Critique & discussion with group begins at 6 pm.

  • Anitra Jay & The Rebellion

    Join Anitra Jay & The Rebellion for a night of not-so-ordinary live music. This full band show is a raw, nitty-gritty, soulful musical experience for the conscious rebel.

    Also featured is the soulful, rugged sound of FredX and visual art of Rodan Ross.
