Crosstown Concourse Opening Day Celebration
Crosstown Concourse 1350 Concourse Ave., Memphis, TNJoin us for the opening celebration of Crosstown Concourse, scheduled nearly 90 years to the day of the original Sears Crosstown grand opening in August 1927. This celebration of history and rebirth will showcase the organizations and businesses that courageously believed in and dedicated themselves to the creation of this one-of-a-kind vertical urban village. A full schedule of events will be released soon, but expect great food, live music, dance performances, art exhibitions, a Concourse documentary screening, tenant open houses, and more.

Potluck
East Atrium, Crosstown Concourse 1350 Concourse Ave., Memphis, TN, United StatesCollaborative exhibition of place setting-inspired art. At a typical potluck, individuals are asked to contribute a shared food item. But in this case, individuals were invited to bring to the table their individual interpretation of a meal’s structural elements: a place setting. Altogether, these unique place settings create a large-scale collaborative table-top installation, a collective visual feast.

MadAir Decks Exhibition
Third annual exhibition of skateboard artwork featuring more than 50 longboard and skateboard decks designed by 30 Memphis-based artists. Works will be on display and for sale. MadAir merchandise will also be sold.

Mr. Gordy is perhaps best known as the creator and executive producer of the partially shot and Memphis-set Cinemax series Quarry. Hear from Graham about his experiences in making the series and working as a writer in the so-called "golden age of television," as well as how he's gone about making a career for himself while still calling the South his home.
