  • Shoot & Splice: Hair & Makeup for Film

    Monthly filmmmaking forum presented by Indie Memphis and Crosstown Arts
    July topic: Hair & Makeup with Alicia George
    Join professional hair and make-up artist Alicia George (Space Warriors, Losers Take All) as she discusses set etiquette, working with actors, creating a portfolio, and more. Alicia will also have a live hair and make-up demonstration to give a sample of the craft that goes into achieving a proper cinematic look.

  • God in the Center Gospel Fest

    Second annual festival for young adults with guest speakers, spoken word, and worship services. There will also be a breakout session where men and women will be ministered to in separate rooms.

  • Public Zine Workshop

    Zine making is for everyone! The free Public Zine Workshop is for beginners to experienced zine makers.

    We will give an overview of the process and have paper and basic supplies, but feel free to bring your own imagery, drawings, and favorite art supplies.

  • Open Crit

    Crosstown Arts’ Open Crit series, organized in partnership with ArtsMemphis, is a monthly critique event where visual artists are invited to bring new and/or in-progress studio work for critical feedback and group discussion particular to each artist’s practice. All sessions are free and open to the public.
