    In a Violent Way is a multimedia installation by Lawrence Matthews III that incorporates a wide array of visual and audio elements, from oil painting and collage to tube televisions and archival video footage.

  • Rock For Love 9: Crosstown Block Party!

    Crosstown Neighborhood Cleveland & Overton Park

    Talented Memphis musicians perform shows at Amurica, Crosstown Arts, Co-Motion Studio, Midtown Crossing Grill, Visible Community Music School and the Hi Tone as part of the annual Rock For Love benefit to support Church Health Center.

    Visual artists from all backgrounds and levels of experience are invited to present works in progress/newly finished for discussion led by an experienced facilitator. Anyone is welcome to participate in the discussion.

    Artists begin setup at 5 pm. Critique & discussion with group begins at 6 pm.
