Exhibiting Artist Talk

Join us for a conversation with our Spring exhibiting artists—Wiley Henry, Lawrence Matthews, and Karl Erickson—on Thursday, May 28 from 6–8pm.
Working across painting, drawing, animation, installation, and multimedia, these artists explore identity, perception, and the complex relationships between human and non-human worlds. From Henry’s emotionally charged figurative work rooted in heritage and personal history, to Matthews’ Southern Gothic–inflected investigations of unstable reality, to Erickson’s playful and layered examinations of ecological systems and non-human agency, each exhibition offers a distinct perspective on how we experience and interpret the world around us.
This artist talk offers a chance to hear directly from the artists about their work, process, and the ideas shaping the exhibitions, followed by audience Q&A.
Free and open to the public. On view through June 7, 2026.
