Students from Soulsville Charter School and JIFF partner to bring you a dynamic performance to exemplify DuBois’ quotation through spoken word pieces and tap dancing. Students from JIFF, through instruction from Kori Wallace, seek better futures and unshackle their minds through spoken word pieces that examine their pasts, present, and futures.

Under the direction of Danielle Pierce, Soulsville students are “tapping through time”, exemplifying the determination and sheer will of oppressed groups to find joy within painful circumstances.
