Featuring work by members of the Pine Hill Community Center, Lewis Senior Center and Memphis Knit Mafia, plus Nikkila Carrol and Morgan Montalvo

“Delicate Tension” connects a diverse group of Memphis-area crocheters and showcases their work in a public setting, some for the very first time.

The exhibition not only exposes the generational contrasts of needlework created by a wide range of artisans/artists with varying techniques and aesthetic concerns, but also aims to re-imagine defined notions of fine art and craft.
