Between 1967 and 1975, Swedish journalists traveled across the United States documenting the Black Power movement and the social upheaval surrounding it. Decades later, their remarkable 16mm footage was rediscovered and assembled into this vivid historical portrait. Featuring appearances by Stokely Carmichael, Angela Davis, Bobby Seale, and other influential voices, The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975 combines archival material with contemporary commentary to examine resistance, community organizing, systemic injustice, and the continuing struggle for liberation.
