THE CHANT OF JIMMIE BLACKSMITH is the shocking tale of an Aboriginal man driven to madness and revenge. Jimmie (Tommy Lewis) is a young half-caste raised in the early 20th century countryside — a boy initiated by his tribe but educated by a stern minister. Jimmy finds a white bride while performing back-breaking farm work, but cannot escape racist oppression. Fired without pay and discovering that he may not be the true father of his child, Jimmy cuts a bloody path of retribution through the society which forsook him.
