Diana Ross stars as legendary singer Billie Holiday in LADY SINGS THE BLUES! Nominated for an academy award, Diana carries the movie with intense acting chops and of course her own brilliant interpretations of Billie Holiday songs – the recordings of which went number on on the Billboard charts. Also starring Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian from A Star War!!!), Richard Pryor!!!!!, Isabel Sanford (MRS. JEFFERSON!!!!!) and Paul Hampton (Private Duty Nurses and Waxwork II: Lost in Time!!). LADY SINGS THE BLUES is a can’t miss, FEEL GOOD FILM!! (Except the end of course. I mean, it is a true story and she died at 44 of cirrhosis, so… you can’t really change that, sorry! BUT THE MOVIE IS GREAT!!!!!!)
