Hear Crosstown Arts resident artists Natalie Hoffmann (Optic Sink) and Yazan Fahmawi in a special performance at the Green Room. 

Optic Sink is a new post-punk/electronic collaboration between Natalie Hoffmann of Nots and Ben Bauermeister of A55 Conducta / DJ Damp Velour. 

Yazan is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter originally from New York, playing a blend of country blues, folk, and psychedelia.

The SPINS series will feature music as diverse as the City of Memphis. Each month, a rotating line-up of DJs will play everything from old-school Hip-Hop and House to Ultra Lounge and Afrobeat. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. So, come chill. Come hang. Come party!

Treat yourself to the gift of Restorative Yoga with Live Music. This workshop focuses on the breath, supported yoga poses, and gentle somatic movements. Live music, vibrational sound, and healing touch will sustain and deepen your experience.

The Mystic is a catalyst; through music, story, silence and dialogue, we hope to strengthen our attachment to hopes and dreams. In The Mystic, the world is far-better served by different beliefs than it could ever be if limited by rigid uniformity. The Mystic is hosted by a rotating panel including Rabbi Micah Greenstein, Chris Miner, Dr. Scott Morris, Dr. Sonia Walker and Kirk Whalum.

Join us in The Green Room for a performance by Rescue Animals, a sextet comprised of some of Memphis' finest musicians: Scott Thompson, trumpet; Art Edmaiston, sax; Pee Wee Jackson, drums; Joe Restivo, guitar; Paul Taylor, bass; Pat Fusco, keys.

Rescue Animals mixes influences from Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw, Willie Mitchell, Jaco Pastorius, and other shared musical heroes in an improvisational setting, incorporating a "straight ahead" vocabulary into the harmonies and rhythms of R&B, Soul, Latin and Gospel music.

A night of delta blues, featuring Shaun Marsh playing a traditional set of early acoustic blues from the '20s and '30s, such artists as Robert Johnson, Charlie Patton, and Blind Willie McTell.

Also on the bill: The OCB - blending delta blues and electronica. Featuring Luis Seixas and Shaun Marsh.
