Twenty spots are available for performers! To sign up, email jazmin@crosstownarts.org with the name of the performer(s), age(s), school, and the title of your spoken word.
The first 20 individuals/groups to email jazmin@crosstownarts.org will be listed in the line-up. A waiting list will be kept in case performers cancel.
Guidelines
- Subject matter must pertain to race and/or violence
- Participants must be between the ages of 13 and 18
- Language must be appropriate for families (no profanity)
- Each performance cannot last longer than 4 minutes
- Individual and group signups are welcome
- This event is not a competitive slam. Think “showcase.”
