Speaking Suns is a quartet based in a small, liberal college town called Yellow Springs. Their music blends the antsy energy of post-punk with the lush textures of psych-pop; imagine Talking Heads’ David Byrne fronting an Elephant Six band, and you’ll be close to their sound. They’re touring the South this fall in support of their follow-up to the 2014 debut album, “Vanishing Country.”
