Inaugural solo exhibition by Joseph Camp
Gravity Waves will consist of intimate gouache paintings. This body of work challenges the viewers’ Jungian sense of personal experience. Camp says, ”It’s about the inherent value of experience and the role of visual retention.”
His work is comprised of spirited strokes and self-actuated symbols embedded within geometric shapes of color. Balancing simplicity and complexity, or the intentional lack of either, is an issue that Joseph addresses with intention and sincerity.
