SUMMARY:SOLD OUT D'Monet at the The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:This event has sold out! Sorry for the inconvenience. \nJoin us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a special performance by D’Monet. \nTickets: $10\nDoors at 7 pm | Show at 7:30 pm \nHow an artist starts a journey can say a lot about their destination; belting out melodies from the womb is a divine beginning. Having received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Music Performance at LeMoyne Owen College\, along with studying under some of opera’s greatest powerhouses such as Grace Bumbry\, Vera Little\, even abroad in Pisa\, Italy under world-renowned Pilralba Sorga\, the classically trained voice known as D’Monet cannot be defined as a Jazz\, Rhythm\, and Blues or a Pop singer\, but she has redefined the meaning of the traditional soul artist in what she calls “Alkaline Music” (music that heals). \nD’Monet allows you to travel on contorted twists of loves’ successes and failures; all while exercising her massive vocal prowess to the center stage. Nurturing her vocal gifts from the tender age of four\, along with developing her ear for the piano by age seven\, she now is a seasoned veteran. D’Monet has shared her soul from New York to Los Angeles\, but it’s only natural she makes Memphis\, Tennessee the home of her “Futuristic Soul.” \nAs D’Monet inspires those within her artistic circle\, she soaks inspiration from classic triple threat artists such as: Anita Baker\, Oleta Adams\, Celine Dion\, Luther Vandross\, Stevie Wonder\, and Rachelle Ferrell. D’Monet has a gift for building bridges between a song and her audience\, crossing cultural and musical genres. This elegant songstress approaches each note with a sophisticated passion\, which leaves the listener wanting more. \nD’Monet’s recordings can only be matched by her live performances in various venues around Memphis\, TN. She has been featured on numerous stages and sets and her sound has allowed her to branch out across several genres. She was honored to perform as the special guest for Black Enterprise’s Women of Power Summit in 2012. Having shared the stage with Soul Crooner Eric Roberson\, and also having a brief stint as a background singer for Blackstreet’s Dave Hollister\, D’Monet has become a musical mainstay\, particularly in the city of Memphis. In 2011\, D’Monet was featured on Markevius Faulkner‘s hit single ‘Day One’\, which received major radio airplay on WHAL-FM’S 95.7 Hallelujah FM. In the wake of Day One’s success\, D’Monet released her debut single\, Oooh Baby (Got Your Back)! \nIn 2013\, D’Monet uprooted herself from her hometown and moved to Des Moines\, IA\, where she unsuspectedly became the Assistant Minister of Music and Vocal Director at a local church\, the front woman and keyboard player for two funk/soul bands R.S.V.P. and The Tighten Up band\, and also made two appearances on KCWI’s “Great Day” Morning Show performing her original music. After returning to Memphis a few years later\, she began releasing more original music. \nOn February 28\, 2019\, D’Monet released her new single “Dry” which is now available on all major digital outlets and streams. Her next single “Trauma” soon followed on May 31\, 2019\, which talks about a physical assault that left her traumatized for a long time. On September 6\, 2019\, D’Monet released her Chrysalis EP\, which signifies the evolution of her life and her music. Stay tuned for what’s next. Her quest to continue along her musical journey is just beginning.

SUMMARY:Chris Stamey & Friends at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Green Room for a special concert of Chris Stamey’s New Songs for the 20th Century (Omnivore Recordings)\, new original compositions inspired by the canon of the Great American Songbook. \nWith a full acoustic band — including Memphis luminaries Jack Cooper\, winds\, & Carl Casperson\, ac. bass\, along with NC’s Charles Cleaver\, piano — and guest singers Skylar Gudasz\, Brett Harris\, Django Haskins\, and more. \nTickets: $10\nDoors at 7 pm | Show at 7:30 pm \n‘Musicians from Rod Stewart to Bob Dylan have turned to the Great American Songbook to revive their creative juices. But Chris Stamey has taken a different approach. Instead of singing other people’s compositions\, he’s rearranged a handful of old songs and written a raft of new ones that are akin to material for a 1958 recording session by Frank Sinatra or Ella Fitzgerald.’— Geoffrey Himes review\, Downbeat Magazine\, September\, 2019 \n‘This is a prodigious project that asks for real attention. Fortunately\, the gift of this music pays off in timeless beauty and unlimited inspiration. It’s like the past has been reinvigorated by the present\, with nothing lost and everything gained.’ — Bill Bentley review\, Americana Highways\, July 10\, 2019 \nNew Songs for the 20th Century is an amazing album. The songs astound\, as if lifted out of a time machine . . . Those familiar with the Great American Songbook will likely be enthralled by this rich collection. Backed by the Mod Rec Orchestra\, many great musicians bring Stamey’s new songs to life. The beautiful and luxurious “I Don’t Believe in Romance” features singer Caitlin Cary and has the magic of a Burt Bacharach classic; the wistful “What is This Music that I Hear?” and “On an Evening Such as This” are both bolstered by singer Kirsten Lambert’s affecting vocals. The jazzy “There’s Not a Cloud in the Sky” and more contemporary “I Am Yours” are among the memorable tracks on disc one. The jazzy “Beneath the Underdog” (featuring Marshall Crenshaw\, Don Dixon and Django Haskins)\, the beautiful “In Spanish Harlem\,” and nuanced “Lover\, Can You Hear Me?” bring equal power to the second disc.’ — Robert Kinsler\, Rock ‘N’ Roll Truth (blog) \n‘This is a sprawling\, brilliant piece of work: 26 songs across two CDs\, and each one is a masterpiece. And\, even better\, there are unmistakable Chris Stamey footprints throughout . . . I’m not sure how old someone has to get before you can’t call him a “Boy Genius” anymore\, but at least I know now that it’s post-60.’ — Mike Fornatale\, Shindig\, July 8\, 2019. \n‘JazzTimes is honored to present the premiere of the video for “Manhattan Melody (That’s My New York)” by Chris Stamey and the ModRec Orchestra. . . . [B]oth the song and the album aren’t quite what you’d expect based on his résumé’ — the influence of the Great American Songbook is strong\, and the overall sound is much closer to jazz than rock. It doesn’t hurt that Stamey brought in some ringers here: Branford Marsalis on tenor sax\, Matt Douglas on clarinet\, Jim Crew (along with Stamey himself) on piano\, Jason Foureman on bass\, and Dan Davis on drums. Django Haskins is the vocalist\, one of more than a dozen singers who alternate tracks throughout the album\, including Nnenna Freelon\, Ariel Pocock\, and power-pop maestro Marshall Crenshaw.’ — Jazz Times\, June 28\, 2019

SUMMARY:Rob Jungklas at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us as Rob Jungklas performs songs from his project\, “Gone To Water\,” at The Green Room. \nTickets: $10\nDoors at 7pm | Performance at 7:30pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRob Jungklas came roaring back into the Memphis music psyche with 3 new critically acclaimed recordings in a few short years: Arkadelphia\, Gully\, and Mapping The Wreckage. Ever prolific\, he has released four more since his reemergence. The Spirit and The Spine\, Nothing To Fade\, and Blackbirds on Madjack Records\, and 7 Sisters. \nHe issued his debut LP\, Closer to the Flame\, in 1987 on Manhattan Records. On the strength of an MTV video aired for the single “Boys Town\,” the record garnered airplay and modest chart success for his effort\, while creating the iconic regional anthem “Memphis Thing.” \nThe more reflective Work Songs for a New Moon\, that followed two years later on RCA\, showcased Jungklas’ nuanced blend of pop songwriting and Memphis style R&B. \nLee Froelich calls Rob’s songs “profane and poetic\, haunted by ghost and damnation” and the sentiments are echoed by the likes of Rolling Stones’ David Fricke who describes the sounds as “bloodied bottleneck guitar and choked prayer.” \n\n \n\n\n \n

On December 4th\, Milam will perform a sneak peek of songs from his upcoming record. However\, the show’s centerpiece will be collaboration: Milam will invite an all-star cast of Memphis artists to debut the songs they’ve written together. \n“Everyone knows that Memphis is full of great artists doing exciting work\,” Milam says. “But lately I’m drawn to the amount of collaboration I see behind the scenes. DESCRIPTION:Jazz tribute to Stevie Wonder featuring James Austin\, Jr. (acoustic piano)\, Carl Capersen (acoustic bass)\, and James Sexton (drums). \nTickets: $15\nDoors at 6:30 pm | Show at 7pm \nThe Crosstown Jazz Series\, presented by Strictly Jazz Entertainment in collaboration with Crosstown Arts\, is designed to salute classic jazz music as contemporary musicians perform the work of the legends. \nHailing from the windy city of Chicago\, James Austin\, Jr. has established himself as an accomplished pianist and bandleader. He honed his craft under the tutelage of a number of legendary musicians\, including extensive study with renowned jazz educator Barry Harris\, receiving numerous accolades and awards along the way\, including the honor of being selected as a semi-finalist in the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano competition. Each year\, he has curated and led the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) Jazz Jam series since its inception. \nAll of these experiences have culminated into a debut offering that pays tribute to one of his longtime heroes\, Stevie Wonder\, titled Songs in the Key of Wonder. Austin has long considered Wonder as one of the greatest composers of our time. Others have covered Wonder’s tunes on numerous occasions and for good reason\, but Austin’s arrangements focus deeply on the colorizations and appealing flavor of Wonder’s mainstay hits.

SUMMARY:The Knights of Jazz at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a special performance by The Knights of Jazz with Paul McKinney. \nTickets: $10\nDoors at 7 pm | Show at 7:30 pm \nPaul McKinney’s smooth jazz approach hints at legends like Miles Davis\, George Duke\, and Kirk Whalum. \n“Paul’s Memphis\, Tennessee\, roots lend a spiritual blues-iness that quickly draws you in. You will feel something when Brother Paul plays that trumpet. You don’t have to waste time analyzing it technically\, harmonically\, arrangements\, production\, blablablah. It’s all good\, trust me. But do yourself a favor and close your eyes and listen to Brother Paul play that horn. There’s a message in it\,” — Kirk Whalum \nPaul’s first solo project single\, “Cecelia\,” is receiving rave reviews from across the country\, and upon hearing the track\, Henry Nelson (Executive Director/Carpenter Arts Garden) had this to say: “I got goose pimples when this piece started the first time and grew teary when the trumpet kicked in. I had Miles Davis memories and felt joyful at the introduction of the sax as the snare and bass tickled. It is a perfect mix!” \n“The fruit don’t fall too far from the tree. This fruit’s tree is someone I worked with\, learned so much from in my developing years\, a piano playing genius\, his father Kurl McKinney. So yeah\, you’re getting the benefit and taste of some of Memphis greatest fruit in your ear hole in Paul McKinney\,” — David Porter\, National Songwriters Hall of Fame \nThe Knights of Jazz are a collection of some of Memphis’ finest and most versatile musicians. Their concept involves creating music that is fun and entertaining\, yet has value and spirituality underneath it.

SUMMARY:L.A.P.D. at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Green Room for a performance by Memphis-based jazz group\, L.A.P.D. \nTickets: $10\nDoors at 7 pm | Show at 7:30 pm \nComprised of four hard-working musicians from Memphis\, L.A.P.D. respects the city’s rich musical heritage while forging new ground\, all in the name of the groove. \nL.A.P.D. is Logan Hanna on guitar\, Arthur Edmaiston on saxophone\, Patrick Fusco on organ\, and Danny Banks on drums and cymbals. \nThe deep swing and tough grooves played by this band of professionals was honed through years of logging late nights in clubs and on tours around the globe. So much attention has been given to the study of the music recorded in the 1960s (sometimes referred to as “soul jazz”) that listeners will wonder if they have been transported back in time. \nL.A.P.D. presents music that harkens back to an era when there was always a Hammond organ in the nightclub and everyone came to have a good time. The beautifully complex instrumental tones and their authentic rhythmic feel for the organ-fueled soul jazz music of yesteryear will make you want to shout! \nThe eclectic repertoire consists of titles spanning several generations of music with all of it delivered in the classic organ quartet style made famous by Jack McDuff\, Lonnie Smith\, Lou Donaldson\, and Big John Patton. \nWhat sets L.A.P.D. apart is the arranging and composing skills of Patrick and Logan. Several original compositions are present in the band’s book as well as sly arrangements of familiar classic and modern rock radio staples. If you have ever wondered what the melodies of Jimi Hendrix and Soundgarden might sound like filtered through a greasy saxophone\, then L.A.P.D. has that and more in store for you.

SUMMARY:Mighty Souls Brass Band at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for special performance by Mighty Souls Brass Band. \nTickets: $10\nDoors 7pm | Performance 7:30pm \nMighty Souls Brass Band\, a Memphis‐based rotating collective of composer‐players versed in a multitude of musical traditions\, isn’t a soul band\, nor is it a funk band\, a marching band\, or a swing band. And yet\, depending on where you catch them live\, you’ll hear all of those influences and more from around the globe. \nFor proof\, check the band’s debut album — Lift Up!\, on Blue Barrel Records — largely recorded live\, to catch the infectious synergy of the group. You’ll hear all of these influences\, but you’ll also hear the writing and arrangement talents of MSBB’s members\, who themselves composed ten of the album’s dozen tracks. This vigorously creative impulse to weave something new from the threads of various traditions is what makes Mighty Souls Brass Band a unique act even among brass ensembles. This is a band that knows where its roots lie\, but also where its branches are reaching\, far out into the world\, a world that seems invariably to express its deepest spiritual desires and celebrations through music. \nMighty Souls Brass Band is a group attuned to that desire\, that celebratory spirit. It’s a music that swings\, that soars\, that swoons — all of which is suggested by that profound\, that humble\, that most human of words: “Soul.”

SUMMARY:Folk All Y'all: An Evening with Violet Bell
DESCRIPTION:Folk All Y’all presents An Evening with Violet Bell\, a North Carolina progressive folk duo\, at The Green Room. \nTickets: $20 \nEach half of Violet Bell has dedicated their life to the pursuit of music: Lizzy Ross as a songwriter who briefly tried her hand in Nashville before returning to more receptive soil in North Carolina; Omar Ruiz-Lopez as a music educator and sideman who plays a staggering array of instruments (violin\, viola\, cello\, guitar\, mandolin\, banjo). Ross thinks melodically and lyrically\, while Ruiz-Lopez thinks in tones\, textures and colors. Combined\, their work is vibrant\, full of ebbing and flowing emotion; full of passion\, fear\, hope\, angst\, frustration\, humor — all the messy emotions comprising the worthwhile chaos of the human experience. Stylistically\, the songs take familiar Americana textures and bend them in surprising directions. Violet Bell is what happens when two musicians at the top of their craft bring their distinctive skills and perspectives to a shared space and life. \nAbout Folk All Y‘all: Our mission is to present world-class singer-songwriters in an intimate\, attentive environment. Our guests and artists are here to connect and do not distract themselves or other guests with photography\, recording\, or other diversions during the show. We are entirely volunteer-run and 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artist.

SUMMARY:Listening Sessions at the Green Room: McLemore Avenue by Booker T. & The MGs (1970)
DESCRIPTION:For their penultimate album on Stax Records\, Booker T. & the MGs stretched the boundaries of the Memphis Sound\, tackling the Beatles’ masterpiece LP\, Abbey Road. Using the newfound artistic freedom granted since Stax had split with Atlantic Records\, this is the band’s most complex and adventurous recording\, perfectly timed for the rise of FM radio and music that need not fit on one side of a 45. \nThe group also debuted a new look for Joel Brodsky’s iconic album cover\, trading in their matching mohair suits and manicured coiffes for bell-bottoms\, fringe jackets\, and scruffy beards. \nJoining series host Dr. Charles Hughes (Rhodes College) will be members of the MDs\, a Memphis-based Booker T. & the MGs tribute band that performed the entire McLemore Avenue album at the Stax Museum in 2017.  This October\, the band rearranged another Beatles classic\, Revolver\, for a capacity Crosstown Arts crowd. \nFree and open to the public

Signature guitar licks from band leader Paul Benjaman and steel work from Hard Working Americans member\, Jesse Aycock\, apply a vintage hue that is both nostalgic and fresh. \nJACOB TOVAR: A man from a different time\, a different era. With a gentleman’s handshake\, a booming voice\, a contagious smile\, and a quick wit\, this Tulsa\, OK performer effortlessly connects with all walks of life through his sincere songs of roots\, folk\, Americana\, and old school country. \nSpecial Guest Jesse Aycock: Jesse Aycock wrote his first song at age twelve and wrote a song that ended up on his dad’s debut CD when he was fourteen. Jesse’s songs capture an innocence and honesty that is hard to find\, He writes everything from story songs and love songs to songs about every day life and the human condition. In Jesse’s music you hear the influence of early rock and folk\, psychedelic country\, and soul all mixed together to create his sound.

SUMMARY:The Lovelight Orchestra at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for big band blues by The Love Light Orchestra. \nTickets: $10\nDoors 7pm | Show at 7:30pm \nThe Love Light Orchestra celebrates the Memphis big band blues-style found on the 1950s and ’60s singles of Bobby “Blue” Bland\, B.B. King and Herman ”Junior” Parker. The band of seasoned Memphis musicians derives their name from Bland’s 1961 hit “Turn On Your Love Light.” Their sound is completed with the soulful voice of bluesman John Nemeth. \nIn addition to dipping into the catalogs of Buddy Ace\, Freddie King\, and Percy Mayfield\, the band demonstrates their deftness with uptown blues via the solid originals “Singing For My Supper\, “Lonesome and High\,” and the Ray Charles-inspired opener “See Why I Love You.” Casual fans of Memphis music might only recognize their cover of Al Green’s iconic “Love and Happiness\,” but it’s reset here as a shuffle\, building upon riffs that horn player\, Marc Franklin\, says were inspired by Charles Mingus’ “Fables of Faubus.” \nThe Love Light Orchestra’s overall sound\, says Franklin\, was inspired by Joe Scott whose work Franklin discovered after he was hired to play with Bland in the early ‘90s. “The first time I heard his work\, it sounded like Ellington\, but more down-home with extended harmonics that you don’t necessarily hear on blues or soul records. It’s a jazz thing\, throwing extra notes into the chords—at Stax they didn’t do 6th chords.” \nGrammy-winning producer/engineer Matt Ross-Spang cut the record live at the tiny DKDC bar in Memphis\, and recalls “it was more or less done after we cut it. This music is really supposed to be heard live\, to be in the room to feel the horns\, and it turned out magically — lightning in a bottle twelve times in just a couple hours.” — Scott Baretta\, former editor of Living Blues

SUMMARY:Scott Sharrard & The Bo-Keys
DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a performance by blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Scott Sherrard and Memphis-based soul band\, The Bo-Keys. \nTickets: $10\nDoors 7:30 pm | Show at 8 pm \n“One of the best guitarists in the country.” — Billboard Magazine \nScott Sharrard is best-known as lead guitarist and bandleader for the late Gregg Allman. But his personal artistic journey – which includes singing\, songwriting\, producing\, and arranging – began long before he first teamed up with the rock icon. \n“Gregg had a pure passion and heart\,” Sharrard says of his friend\, “especially when it came to being a musician. That authenticity and dedication is a daily inspiration\, and I will always carry that with me onstage and in the studio.” \nHis latest record\,“Saving Grace\,” with the blues at its core\, bears a distinctly southern spirit. Sessions took place in Memphis and at the historic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals\, Alabama. Half the album employs the Hi Rhythm Section\, the other The Swampers of Muscle Shoals. \nThe partnership with Allman ended with the 69-year-old’s death on May 27\, 2017. But not before Allman covered Sharrard’s “Love Like Kerosene” on 2015’s “Gregg Allman Live: Back to Macon\, GA\,” and again on Allman’s eighth and final solo album\, the posthumous\, GRAMMY-nominated “Southern Blood” (Rounder Records\, 2017). \nAnother “Southern Blood” track\, the unforgettable farewell “My Only True Friend” – co-written by Sharrard and Allman – earned a GRAMMY nomination for Americana Song of the Year. \nHe’s now begun a new chapter with an album he consciously wanted to summarize the last 20 years of his work – and one that showcases the totality of his artistry: as guitarist\, singer\, songwriter\, producer\, arranger and bandleader. \nIn short\, he says\, it’s rock n’ roll rooted in everything else. \n“I basically have a rock ’n’ roll band\,” Sharrard explains. “When I was growing up\, I loved bands like Little Feat\, Led Zeppelin and the Allmans. They would explore so many styles and experiment. That’s something I have always tried to embrace\, and that’s how I want to present my music today. This is what I tried to do with Gregg. Now I’m continuing that as a solo artist.”

SUMMARY:Odeya Nini: A Solo Voice
DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a performance by Los Angeles-based experimental vocalist and contemporary composer Odeya Nini.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvolving over the last eight years\, A Solo Voice\, composed and performed by Odeya Nini\, is an investigation of resonance\, extended vocal techniques\, performance\, and pure expression\, exploring the relationship between mind and body and the various landscapes it can yield. The work is a series of malleable compositions and improvisations that include field recordings and theatrical elements\, aiming to dissociate the voice from its traditional attributes and create a new logic of song that is not only heard but seen through movement and action. In a multi-dimensionality that serves to both provoke and soothe in abstract communication\, the voice is presented in its spectrum of natures as it travels through cultures\, ages\, emotions and colors\, like photographs\, with tender intimacy and bold aberrance. \nTickets: $10\nDoors 7 pm |Performance 7:30pm \nOdeya Nini is a Los Angeles-based experimental vocalist and contemporary composer. At the locus of her interests are performance practices\, gesture\, textural harmony\, tonal animation\, and the illumination of minute sounds\, in works spanning chamber music to vocal pieces and collages of musique concrète. Her solo vocal work extends the dimension and expression of the voice and body\, creating a sonic and physical panorama of silence to noise and tenderness to grandeur. Odeya has collaborated extensively with dancers\, visual artists\, filmmakers and theater directors as both a composer and soloist and has worked with and appeared in works by artists and ensembles such as Meredith Monk\, Butch Morris\, Lucy & Jorge Orta\, The Industry & Wild Up. \nOdeya’s work has been presented at venues and festivals across the US and internationally\, such as Resonant Bodies Festival\, Banff Centre\, The Pulitzer Arts Foundation\, The LA Phil\, MONA and Art Basel Miami\, from Los Angeles to Tel Aviv\, Australia\, Mongolia\, Madagascar and Vietnam. She leads vocal sound baths\, seminars\, workshops and retreats exploring the transformative and healing qualities of embodying the voice. \nOdeya holds a BFA from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and an MFA in composition from California Institute of the Arts. \nwww.odeyanini.com

SUMMARY:John Raymond & Real Feels at The Green Room
DESCRIPTION:Join us in The Green Room at Crosstown Arts for a performance by up-and-coming jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn player John Raymond. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets: $10\nDoors 7 pm | Show at 7:30 pm \n\n\nWith a singular voice on the trumpet and flugelhorn\, John Raymond is making his mark as one of the most promising\, up-and-coming jazz musicians in the world. Recently dubbed as a Rising Star by Downbeat Magazine\, John has performed with some of most well-respected names in jazz\, including Orrin Evans\, Kurt Rosenwinkel\, Billy Hart\, and Linda Oh among others. He has released five albums under his own name since 2012\, all of which are receiving critical acclaim from the New York Times\, Stereogum\, Downbeat\, JazzTimes\, and more. John has also established himself as a sought-after educator\, both as the Professor of Jazz Trumpet at Indiana University and as a guest clinician and soloist at schools around the world. \nRaymond’s Real Feels is a bass-less trio that includes Gilad Hekselman (guitar) and Colin Stranahan (drums)\, and the leader on flugelhorn. Together\, they incorporate indie-rock\, folk\, and electronic influences to both riveting original music and fresh takes on recognizable songs by artists such as Bob Dylan\, Thom Yorke\, Bon Iver\, Paul Simon and more. Regardless of material\, the band’s improvisational\, free-wheeling\, “keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat” approach to the music makes each experience with Real Feels a new and captivating experience. It’s no surprise that they are one of the hottest\, up-and-coming groups in jazz today. \n\n \n\n\n \n\n \n\n\n \n
