Pecha Kucha Nights began in Tokyo as an opportunity for artists, designers and architects to show samples of their work, but have expanded to include anyone from the community sharing a wide array of interesting and often hilarious topics. The audience is made up of anyone who wants to come and enjoy seeing what other people are interested in.

Being a presenter is not a competitive or juried process. Simply request to be a presenter at an upcoming Pecha Kucha Night by emailing christopher@crosstownarts.org, and you will be on the list for the next available spot.

If you’re wondering what “Pecha Kucha” means, it draws its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”. Come check out what Memphians are up to!

Pecha Kucha is devised and shared by Klein Dytham Architecture, Tokyo
