Musician & Artist Services

Crosstown Arts provides the following services and opportunities to musicians and artists.

Get administrative support with healthcare enrollment.

Crosstown Arts provides this free service to anyone in Memphis who identifies as part of the creative community (musicians, music creators, sound engineers, music producers, and visual or performing artists working in any medium) and is uninsured or seeking help to understand their healthcare options. Learn more about healthcare support here.

Learn about sync opportunities for musicians.

Crosstown Sync brings the rich sounds of Memphis to the big screen. Created by Crosstown Arts, Crosstown Sync licenses music created by Memphis artists and musicians, as well as music recorded in Memphis by non-Memphians, for use in movies, television shows, commercials, video games, and other on-screen opportunities. Crosstown Sync’s inclusive catalog embodies the incredibly diverse and original sounds of Memphis. Learn more about Crosstown Sync here.

Get free music publishing support.

Crosstown Arts’ Music Publishing Coordinator provides Memphis-based musicians and individuals working in the music industry (producers, songwriters, engineers, composers, etc.) with free administrative support and direction to successfully administer the publishing for their music catalog and receive all available royalties for their original music. Learn more about music publishing here.

Upload made-at-home performance videos and receive donations from viewers.

Crosstown Arts: Against the Grain is an online platform for Memphis musicians to post made-at-home videos of their musical performances on Crosstown Arts’ website. Videos are free to watch, but viewers can opt to buy a virtual ticket to directly support musicians. 100% of donations go to the artists. Learn more about Against the Grain here.
